Alberto Vargas - Varga Girl

Alberto Vargas, 'Lady in Pink', watercolor. This image was published

as the January 1948 Varga Girl in a calendar by Varga Enterprises,

but distribution was halted as an outcome of the Esquire lawsuit.

This work then vanished from public view for over forty years!

Beautifully sensual yet modest painting (see detail), elegantly framed.

18 1/2 w. x 27 1/2 h., framed 28 5/8 w. x 38 1/16 h.
